Every year, from 12 noon on the 6th of July until midnight on the 14th of July, the city of Pamplona celebrates the Fiesta de San Fermín, when the old city resounds with unending and reverberating music, when dancing through the streets becomes the mode of public transportation, and when the unpredictable becomes the norm! Morning bullruns in Pamplona have made the San Fermín Fiesta famous worldwide!

Itinerary July 2011
Day 1 | Arrive in Barcelona Spain
Day 2 | Morning- Overview of tour of Barcelona An overview on the main highlights of the old city centre of Barcelona, the group will be shown some hidden spots that reveal the origins of Barcelona. This is a perfect introduction to the history and the everyday life of this exciting city.
Afternoon – Cooking lessons When you love cooking you can’t miss this! This is your chance to prepare some of this region’s famous dishes with assistance of an experienced cook. There is also the possibility to, previous to the cooking workshop, buy the ingredients for the workshop with the cook on the famous Mercado La Boqueria, including explanation about the history of this popular market. This is a cooking workshop and dinner where the group will eat their self-prepared dishes. Day 3 | Wine and Cava outside Barcelona The Spanish alternative to Champaign is produced only 25 miles from Barcelona. We will go by mini-bus to this interesting region where we will enjoy the beautiful views at the mountain Montserrat and where we will with visit 3 "bodegas" where wine and/or Cava is made. We will visit a very impressive big Cava-winery, a medium sized wine and Cava winery and a charming small size winery so the group will have a complete overview of the region and the producers. Of course we will taste wines or Cavas in each winery. Between the visits we will have lunch in a typical Catalan restaurant. At the end of the visit we will return to Barcelona.
Day 4 | Pamplona Depart for Pamplona Mid- Morning
Day 5 Running of Bulls & Bull Fight | Pamplona Spain Travel to Pamplona for viewing the running of the Bulls in the wee hours of the morning Day 6 | Free morning
Day 7 | Free Day Explore Madrid on your own
Day 8 | Toledo Bus tour to Toledo which is about 1 hour due south of Madrid
Day 9 | Departure
