Day 1
Arrival to Moscow. We meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel. You have some time to relax from the trip to Russia. Take on the fascinating excursion to the famous Red Square and Moscow Kremlin. Have a nice dinner in the cozy café.
Day 2
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Get ready to set on a wonderful excursion “Russian Treasures” (you will visit the museum of matryoshki, the National museum of the Russian vodka, the museum “Russian valenki”). Finish your day with a delicious dinner in a nice café.
Day 3
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Prepare for a most interesting trip to Serguiev Posad – a small town in the Moscow region with a very captivating history. Admire the sights in Serguiev Posad and return to Moscow. Have a tasty dinner in one of the coziest cafes of Moscow.
Day 4
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel restaurant. We take you to the airport (or the railway station; in this case it will take you an extra day to get to Volgograd). We meet you at the airport (or the railway station) and take you to the hotel. You have some free time in order to relax from the trip to Volgograd. You may have lunch at the hotel restaurant which is quite comfortable and nice. Or you may have lunch at some restaurant with a typically Russian cuisine and be accompanied by our tour managers. Then take on the fascinating excursion “The hero-city of Volgograd” visiting the main tourist attractions of Volgograd (former Stalingrad). Finish your first day in Volgograd with a nice and cozy family dinner and enjoy the hospitality of the Russian people.
Day 5
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Then choose one of the most interesting excursions: “The energetic giant upon Volga” (you will see Europe’s greatest hydroelectric power station and the city of Volzhskiy, a city-sputnik of Volgograd); “The crossroads of the five seas” (you will learn why Volgograd is considered to be a port of the five seas and see the wonderful Volga-Don channel), “The German colony” (you will visit the former settlement of Germans, the German chapel, the German library and many other interesting places). Have lunch in a cozy café. Enjoy the warm (and sometimes very hot) Russian sun on a sandy beach on the bank of the Volga. You can have a walk along the central streets of Volgograd by yourself or visit the Mamaev Hill in the evening (it looks so beautiful with all those lights highlighting the main sculptures of the great memorial). Have dinner in a nice café trying local food.
Day 6
Enjoy your early breakfast at the hotel and prepare to the 6-hour-trip to Uryupinsk – the heart of the Russian province. During this long trip you may have a curious excursion to the “Cossack Farm” (optional) and then have a light picnic in some picturesque spot. Arrive in Uryupinsk and meet a friendly family that will host you at their home and arrange a delicious family dinner for you.
Day 7
Enjoy a typically Russian breakfast. Set up on a wonderful sightseeing tour around Uryupinsk. Have a delicious Russian lunch. Experience a traditional Russian banya (sauna). Have a Russian dinner. (The meals in the village differ from those in the city.)
Day 8
Have a tasty breakfast. Visit stanitsa (Cossack village) Mikhaylovskaya. Sunbathe on the beach on the bank of the purest river in Europe – the Khopyor, and savour the traditional Russian shashlyki (barbecue). Have a light dinner prepared by the host family especially for you.
Day 9
Have breakfast. Visit stanitsa (Cossack village) Nekhayevskaya. Have lunch and set up on the ecological excursion to “Shemyakinskaya Dacha” – one of the natural monuments of the Volgograd region. Have a delicious dinner.
Day 10
Enjoy the breakfast cooked by the hosts for you and prepare to return to Volgograd. We take you to the hotel. You have some free time to have a nice walk along the city streets and buy some souvenirs for your family and friends. Have dinner in some nice and cozy café with the local food.
Day 11
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. We take you to the airport (or the railway station; in this case it will take you an extra day to get to Moscow).
You arrive to Moscow and return to your home country.
