A Castle in Tuscany and the hill town of Fiesole

On this beautiful mornng we experience two wine Zones the Chianti Fiorentina and Rufina. Just half an hour from the city centre enjoy a drive through rolling landscapes dotted with numerous Castles. Pass by castles where famous writers and poets wrote classics such as Giovanni Boccaccio's 'The Decameron'. View the hills of Montececeri where Michelangelo grew up and Leonardo da Vinci would try out his flying experiments! Arrive at the Castle Estate of the Macario Family. The Historical Residence was built in 1184 by the Pazzi Family. A known rival of the powerful Medici. Enjoy a tour of the property with passionate family member Alberto. Visit the interior of the Castle, today a family residence along with the room where the Pazzi Conspirancy took place. Tour the cellars that were once dungeons ! Enjoy a tasting of their selected wines including dessert wine Vino Santo DOC along with delicious extra virgin olive oil. After our tour continue a drive to the hill town of Fiesole for lunch. you can try the famous Florentine steak 'Bistecca Fiorentina' at Perseus to an exclusive location at Villa San Michele. Experience breathtaking views of Florence from the look out point at Fiesole.
